Ultimate Yacht Therapist

The course:

A stewardess would like to be more employable and have dual roles in the yachting industry. We offer the ultimate yacht therapist course that covers,

• Introduction to stew/masseuse or beautician
• Swedish massage
• Hot stone massage
• pre-blend aroma
• Manicure and Pedicure
• Gel application
• Lash and Brow tint and shape

This is in-depth training that has been altered to the standards of yachting. We will train you to confidently deliver the perfect treatments whilst working onboard a yacht. This certificate will allow you to work on the land at a later stage should you wish to.

Who is this course for? 

This course is ideal for Yacht stewardesses or anyone who wishes to learn treatments for personal investment and add a new skill for your clients to enjoy. 

Duration 

Depending on the Student, the student has one year to complete the course.

All theory training should be done online with virtual assistance e from the lecturer before practical training will start.

10 days of practical in-class training

Certification will take place after the case studies have been completed.

• The voyage will assist student students with job shadowing placements for case studies 
• A certificate of competence with **SAAHSP and ITEC accreditation. 

Student requirements 

Our courses are suitable for complete beginners and do not require any prior learning to be able to train with us; many of our students are not yet beauty trained and are looking to start up a business in the industry. 

We welcome students of all abilities, whether you are looking to learn a new skill from scratch or currently working as a nail technician and looking to refresh your knowledge of particular treatments. 

The minimum age is 18

Be on time. 

How you present yourself will make a difference in whether you get a job or not in the industry. Please dress and act as if you are joining a yacht and what you think is appropriate.

Voyage does have student transport at an extra cost.

Students must have basic literacy and numeracy skills. 

Minimum education. Previous schooling and academic achievements are not required for entry into this course.
