The YachtSpa management course involves overseeing all aspects of the spa board a superyacht to ensure that the spa operations run smoothly and provides an optimal experience for all guests.
This includes tasks such as:
Managing and organizing the crew.
Overseeing the training of the staff so that everyone knows their jobs and roles.
Safety at sea

Who is this course for? 

This course is for qualified health and skincare therapists, somatologist, cosmetologists, and qualified therapists ideal for spa therapists wanting to master leadership and management skills onboard a yacht with gaining all the training to kick off the senior role in your yachting journey and learn to transition from cruise ships or land-based spas to yachting or get a spa management position with accredited institutions and confidence within the industry.

Duration 

The superyacht spa manager course will be done through Voyage International Beauty and get accredited with IAMI GUEST.

These courses will be done through other institutes and are compulsory to work onboard superyachts:

  1. STCW
  2. ENG1
  3. Stewardesses course (with trusted Training partners)

This is an advanced course that is ideal for spa stewardesses show want to take the next step in the management of all spa operations onboard.

All theory training should be done online with virtual assistance e from the lecturer before practical training will start.

this course will be blended learning between online, virtual and in-class.

Certification will take place after the theory and practical examination have been completed.

There will also be an additional Deep Blue Software certification process.

 

Student requirements 

Our courses are suitable for certified therapists to train with us.

We welcome students of all abilities, whether you are looking to learn new skills to work onboard Superyachts or looking to refresh and advance your knowledge of spa operations.

The minimum age is 18

Be on time.

How you present yourself will make a difference in whether you get a job or not in the industry.

Please dress and act as if you are joining a yacht and what you think is appropriate.

Accommodations not provided.

Voyage does have student transport at an extra cost.

Students must have basic literacy and numeracy skills.

Minimum education. Previous schooling and academic achievements are required for entry into this course.

Spa and stewardess qualifications.

Students will need access to a computer and the internet.
